About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of paper masking tape, 24-inch width with 30-pound basis weight, under Reference Number 2097830. This purchase order procurement is issued by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority in Dallas County, Texas. The specific deliverable consists of 24-inch masking paper at 30# specification, with delivery terms that are critical to the procurement, as timely and properly-rated deliveries are considered essential to the order. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, and DART reserves the right to reject and default terminate for failure to meet specified delivery timeframes and rates. The bid submission deadline is February 19, 2026, with the opportunity posted on February 16, 2026, providing a three-day response window. Vendors must be prepared to submit their bids through the BONFIRE registration system and access the in-browser BidTable to complete their submissions, which require navigation to project details and vendor response fields.
The procurement opportunity does not explicitly reference set-aside designations or restrictions limiting responses to specific categories of organizations such as disadvantaged enterprises, small businesses, or minority-owned vendors based on the available documentation. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the posting materials. All responding vendors must comply with DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which mandate Net 30 payment terms calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt, submission of invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with specific line-item documentation, compliance with equal opportunity employment standards, and certification regarding Israeli business practices and foreign terrorist organization non-involvement. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement is not disclosed in the available posting materials. Vendors selected for award will be subject to commercial warranty requirements guaranteeing merchantable quality, specification compliance, and provision of the most favorable warranties extended to any other customer, with all agreements subject to Texas law and Dallas County venue provisions.
