About this opportunity

Chautauqua County Division of Purchasing is soliciting bids on OEM snow removal equipment and related replacement parts under ITB with bids due July 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., and questions due July 22, 2026. The contract runs January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2030 and covers twenty separate bid sections (A–T) across manufacturers including AirFlo, Boss, Everest, Fisher, Flink, Force America, Fort Miller MFC/Tarco, Frink, Henderson, Henke Manufacturing, LaRue Manufacturing, Meyer, Pro-Tech, RS Godwin, Smith Metal Works, Sno-Way, Tenco, Viking, Wausau, and Western.

Qualified manufacturers, authorized dealers, parts wholesalers, and distributors may bid. Delivery locations are the County's Department of Public Facilities Transportation facilities in Falconer, Sheridan, and Sherman, with option for other municipalities and agencies to participate. Delivery must occur within twenty-four hours of order placement during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday) to any location within Chautauqua County. Quantities are indefinite with no minimum or maximum guaranteed and no minimum unit order restrictions or monetary penalties.

Pricing is structured as a single percentage discount off the manufacturer's suggested retail price list; awards are determined by MSRP discount percentages offered. All prices must be all-inclusive and effective for the contract duration. Replacement parts must be new, standard stock products with manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The bidder guarantees full reimbursement if parts do not provide equivalent service as specified. Delivery is FOB to the originating department; damaged shipments are returned at bidder expense with replacements at the same bid price. The County is exempt from federal and state taxes.

Required bid documents include non-collusion certification, Iranian Divestment Certification, exclusion checks certification, financial affidavit, bid authorization certificate, and acknowledgment of any ITB addenda. Insurance certificates must be provided within five days of notice of award. Chautauqua County encourages qualified bidders from minority-owned, women-owned, small, disadvantaged, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses to submit bids.
