About this opportunity
The Commonwealth of Virginia, through James Madison University (JMU), is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide vehicle count systems/parking guidance systems for the university. The initial contract will be for one year, with an option to renew for four additional one-year periods. The selected vendor must be able to detect vehicles upon entry and exit, monitor occupancy of individual parking spaces, and provide real-time information to electronic signage. The vendor must also provide a software application to integrate the various system components and share parking availability data with the university's website and mobile application. Maintenance and support services with rapid response to system failures are required. Pricing shall be provided by zone, and the contract will be cooperative, allowing other Virginia Higher Education Procurement Consortium (VHEPC) member institutions to access the resulting contract. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM on February 29, 2024.
This contract opportunity is open to all qualified vendors. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond.
