About this opportunity

The State of Alabama Office of the Chief Procurement Officer is soliciting quick quotes for MFO FY27 Teledyne through the Alabama Buys system, with responses due September 17, 2026.

This is a Quick Quote procurement under Alabama's standard terms and conditions. The contract carries a combined cost cap of $25,000 across the initial agreement and all renewals, whichever is reached first, with a maximum time period of five years from the effective date. The State retains the right to conduct cost realism and price reasonableness analysis on all bids. Price escalation requests may be approved if material, labor, or other contract components experience significant cost increases, provided the supplier submits justification and documentation; approved increases cannot exceed 5 percent of annual contract cost and are factored into the total $25,000 cap. Contracts may be renewed annually by written agreement between both parties.

Suppliers must register in Alabama Buys and submit responses electronically through the platform. All inquiries must be submitted through the Supplier Portal to maintain a complete record. Vendors must accept multiple forms of electronic payment at no additional cost, including state-issued credit cards, P-cards, and EFT transfers. The State is exempt from sales tax under Alabama law.

Compliance requirements include E-Verify enrollment verification for suppliers employing individuals in Alabama and compliance with the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act. Foreign corporations must register with the Alabama Secretary of State. Contracts exceeding $25,000 require a Disclosure Statement; suppliers must certify full compliance with Alabama sales and use tax collection and remittance obligations. The contract is governed by Alabama law with exclusive venue in Montgomery, Alabama. The State retains sovereign immunity and the right to cancel contracts for convenience.
