About this opportunity

Stony Brook University Hospital is soliciting a proposal for the Merative Micromedex Drug Info Database, a single-source pharmaceutical information system, with proposals due August 20, 2026. This is a discretionary procurement under NYS Education Law 355(5)(A) with an estimated value up to $125,000; a sealed-bid process is not being held. Interested vendors must contact the designated Campus contact within 15 business days of this notice (by August 14, 2026).

The procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law 139 j&k (Lobbying Law), which restricts all vendor contact to the identified procurement officer — non-compliance carries penalties ranging from contract denial to debarment from all NYS Agency sales. Merative US L.P. has held an identical or substantially similar contract within the past five years.

Award is contingent on the successful contractor completing vendor-responsibility documentation, NYS Finance Law 139 certification, NYS Tax Law Section 5-a compliance, and submission of current NYS Workers' Compensation and Disability Forms.
