About this opportunity

SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital is purchasing Medtronic Dual Chamber Temporary Pacemaker (EPG) equipment and related products from a Premier consortium contract (PP-CA-659) without formal competitive process, with questions due August 26, 2026. This procurement operates under NYS Finance Law 139 j&k (Lobbying Law), which restricts vendor contact to the designated procurement officer (Stephanie Knief) — noncompliance can result in debarment from sales to any NYS agency.

Vendors offering equivalent Medtronic Dual Chamber Temporary Pacemaker equipment may compete by demonstrating clinical equivalency to the specified products. Equivalency is measured against the clinical performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) of the Medtronic products. Vendors proposing clinical equivalents must provide free supporting clinical documentation and furnish equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial. Vendors must hold authorization from the original equipment manufacturer to sell their offered products as listed on the GPO contract or approved equivalent.

The incumbent contractor is Medtronic. The successful contractor must submit valid and current New York State Workers' Compensation and Disability Forms and complete documentation required under NYS Finance Law 139 j&k and Public Officers Law.

All questions and requests for information must be submitted via email. Place of performance is SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital, 101 Nicolls Road, Stony Brook, New York 11794.
