About this opportunity
The City of Jacksonville, Florida Fire and Rescue Department is requesting bids on medical unit supplies across ten product groups under ITB 18043-26, with bids due August 7, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. EST and a question cutoff of July 28, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. EST. A Buy American Preference provision may provide preference to responsive and responsible vendors offering American-manufactured, assembled, or produced goods within five percent of the lowest bid if at least fifty-one percent of the bid response is U.S.-made.
The product groups include nasal and oral airway equipment, intubation equipment, miscellaneous airway equipment, stethoscope and blood pressure equipment, splints, intubation needles and syringes, nasogastric tubes and suction equipment, miscellaneous items, CPAP masks with nebulizer and nitrile gloves, and King tubes. All unit prices must include freight, delivery, and handling charges to the delivery address at 355 Ellis Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32254. Deliveries must be completed within thirty days of purchase order release. The City will order on an as-needed basis with estimated quantities subject to fluctuation based on actual requirements; the City reserves the right to purchase more or less than estimated quantities and to add or delete items during the contract period.
The contract will be awarded by group to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must bid on all items within a group to be considered for award. The initial contract term is one year with two optional one-year renewal periods, subject to approval by both the supplier and the City of Jacksonville. Payment terms are forty-five days after the date specified in Florida Statute 218.73, or twenty business days if no outside agent approval is required. The City encourages participation of Jacksonville Small and Emerging Businesses (JSEBs). Addendum #1 was issued on July 28, 2026 to address vendor questions, and suppliers may revise their submissions until bid closing.
