About this opportunity
The City of Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department is requesting bids on medical unit supplies organized into ten product groups under ITB 18043-26, with bids due August 7, 2026 at 4:00 PM and questions due July 28, 2026 at 5:00 PM. The City offers a Buy American Preference to bidders with at least 51 percent American-manufactured, assembled, or produced goods; qualifying bids within five percent of the lowest responsive and responsible bid receive preference consideration.
The scope spans nasal/oral airway equipment, intubation equipment, miscellaneous airway items, stethoscope and blood pressure equipment, splints, intravenous tubes/needles/syringes, nasogastric tubes and suction equipment, miscellaneous items, CPAP masks with nebulizers and nitrile gloves, and King tubes. Award will be made by product group to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must respond to all items within a group to qualify for award in that group.
The contract runs for one initial year with two one-year renewal options, subject to approval by both supplier and the City. All deliveries must occur within thirty days of purchase order release to Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department at 355 Ellis Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32254. Unit pricing must include freight, delivery, and handling charges. Pricing remains firm for the initial contract year; any escalation or de-escalation thereafter requires Consumer Price Index documentation or industry-wide increase evidence, at the City's discretion.
Bidders must comply with Jacksonville Small and Emerging Business Program requirements and carry workers' compensation, commercial general liability, automobile liability, and professional liability insurance. All bid submissions must be submitted electronically through the City's 1Cloud Supplier Portal; no alternative submission methods are accepted. The City reserves the right to adjust quantities, add or delete items, or cancel the contract at any time upon written notice.
