About this opportunity

Texas A&M University's Division of Finance and Business Services is soliciting bids under ITB #TAMU-ITB-26-5057 to establish a pool of vendors supplying insulated black leather gloves to the Texas A&M University Corp of Cadets Uniform Distribution Center in College Station, with bids due July 18, 2026.

The scope calls for black leather gloves (cowhide or goatskin) lined with brushed polyester and Thinsulate thermal insulation, available in sizes Small, Medium, Large, and XLarge. The specification references Milwaukee Glove stock #1856 or functionally equivalent product. The initial procurement quantity is 500 pairs; actual amounts ordered annually will vary and are not guaranteed. All deliveries must be F.O.B. Destination, Freight Prepaid, to College Station, with no additional charges for shipping, handling, or fuel surcharges accepted. Delivery windows are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST, excluding Texas A&M holidays. Failure to meet specified lead times may result in cancellation and purchase from an alternative vendor.

The Master Order commences September 1, 2026, for an initial one-year term with automatic renewal for successive one-year periods, subject to a maximum five-year total term. Either party may decline renewal with thirty days' prior notice. The award may be made to one or more vendors. The agreement extends to other Texas State Agencies classified as Institutions of Higher Education. The estimated annual expenditure is $50,000 for informational purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee. All prices must be submitted on a unit basis and remain firm for the agreement duration. Vendors seeking renewal may propose maximum percentage increases for each renewal period, subject to Texas A&M's review and approval. Payment terms are 100% Net 30 upon receipt, acceptance, and an uncontested invoice. A minimum one-year warranty on all parts and accessories is required, with prompt warranty service expected. Texas A&M reserves the right to terminate the agreement without penalty for non-performance or without cause upon thirty days' written notice.
