The contractor bears all costs for permit-mandated inspections and any additional work or materials identified during inspections. All bidders and subcontractors must register in the County's Vendor Self Service system prior to award. The contract includes apprentice incentive payments (20% reimbursement up to $100,000 for qualifying apprentice wage expenditures of $25,000 or more) and Glades resident incentive payments (30% reimbursement up to $100,000 for new full-time Glades area employees). Contractors must comply with E-Verify employment verification and the Local Government Prompt Payment Act, remitting undisputed payments to subcontractors within 10 days of county payment.
