About this opportunity

This state and local contract opportunity for the Maryland state government, identified by the contract number J02P5600030 and opportunity ID 67e806763b2458e4ac038346, involves a procurement process currently open for potential vendors. The solicitation was officially posted on March 19, 2025, with a submission deadline of March 31, 2025. Unfortunately, the provided excerpt lacks specific details about the precise nature of goods or services being procured, the specific agency involved, required qualifications, deliverables, or evaluation criteria. Without additional context, a comprehensive description of the procurement's technical specifications, objectives, or scope cannot be definitively outlined. The limited information prevents a detailed analysis of the contract's specific requirements, performance expectations, or desired outcomes.

Given the minimal information available, it is not possible to conclusively identify any set-aside designations, organizational restrictions, incumbent vendors, or existing technological infrastructure related to this opportunity. Similarly, no definitive statement can be made regarding potential award values, budget ranges, or precise vendor eligibility requirements. The brevity of the provided information significantly constrains a thorough assessment of the contract's competitive landscape, vendor qualifications, or financial parameters. Interested parties would need to obtain the full solicitation documentation directly from Maryland's procurement portal or the responsible state agency to gain a comprehensive understanding of the contract opportunity's complete specifications and requirements.

Carlson software is used within the Plats and Surveys Division to perform advanced survey computations and calculations, process field-run topographic data from multiple survey instrumentation, process lidar point clouds, perform right-of-way plat computations, analyze cross-section data, and many other complex survey functions. This program will also provide us with the ability to review and evaluate survey data collected by other surveyors to validate survey deliverables regardless of the CADD platform. These functions are vital to the Division and our ability to maintain project schedules.
