About this opportunity

The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is requesting proposals for professional services on the Intersection–Kimberly Pk N at Kimberly Pk E project, with proposals due September 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. local time via electronic submission through Bonfire.

The scope encompasses improvements to two intersecting roadways currently controlled by a two-way stop condition. The project will install a single-lane roundabout at the intersection and construct shared-use paths (SUP) along specified segments: both sides of Kimberly Parkway N west of the roundabout as a transitional section to existing bike lanes, and the north side of Kimberly Parkway N east of the roundabout, tying into SUP constructed under a separate project (3303-E). Sidewalk replacement is included where needed to integrate with existing sidewalk on both roadways. Street trees and lighting will be installed along Kimberly Parkway N from the western limit of the roundabout to Hamilton Road and throughout the roundabout limits along Kimberly Parkway E.

The selected consultant must attend a scope meeting anticipated approximately two weeks after proposals are due; the projected scope date will be specified in the RFP. The consultant may designate an alternate if the Project Manager cannot attend.

Questions must be submitted to capitalprojects@columbus.gov by the deadline specified in the RFP. Responses will be posted as addenda on Bonfire. No pre-proposal meeting will be held. Addenda will be posted on the City's Vendor Services website and on Bonfire.
