The contract term runs October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, with no renewal options. Completion is due September 30, 2027; liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day apply for delays beyond the agreed date. Extensions may be granted for excessive submittal processing delays, ACHD-caused delays, or additional ACHD-requested work, and for force majeure events beyond the contractor's control.
The successful bidder must execute the agreement within 15 calendar days of award notification. No bid security is required at submission; however, the awardee may be required to furnish supply, material, payment, and performance bonds each equal to 100 percent of the contract value upon Notice of Award. Insurance requirements include Workers Compensation, Unemployment Insurance, Comprehensive General Liability ($500,000 per claim / $1,000,000 aggregate), and Comprehensive Automobile Insurance with minimum limits of $500,000 per claim and $1,000,000 aggregate.
Questions are due August 5, 2026 at 4:00 p.m., with responses due August 6, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Contract award goes to the qualified lowest bidder compliant with specifications and bidding procedures.
