Turf must be maintained at two inches using reel or rotary mowers with all clippings removed immediately after each cycle. No services are performed on Sundays or City-observed holidays except in emergencies.
Minimum qualifications require three years of grounds maintenance experience and three professional references demonstrating relevant experience. The contractor must maintain Comprehensive General Liability insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, plus Automobile Insurance with $1,000,000 liability per occurrence, naming the City as an additional insured. The contractor bears all costs for labor, equipment, materials, and legal debris disposal.
The contract term is two years with three optional one-year renewals, potentially extending to five years total. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the grand total price across all seven sites; bidders must submit per-site pricing. Invoices are paid 30 days after receipt. The City reserves the right to add or delete sites upon mutual agreement regarding pricing adjustments. Questions are due July 9, 2026 at 4:00 PM EST.
