About this opportunity

The State of Alabama Office of the Chief Procurement Officer is soliciting quick quotes for ground maintenance services at transmitter and microwave sites, with quotes due October 9, 2026.

Suppliers must be registered in Alabama Buys and submit responses electronically through that platform prior to close. All supplier inquiries must be submitted through the Supplier Portal. By submitting a quote, suppliers affirm receipt of the solicitation and all amendments, agree to furnish services at the quoted price, and certify compliance with all terms and conditions, including non-collusion and non-debarment certifications.

Resulting contracts may be renewed annually by written agreement up to a total contract cost of $25,000 or a maximum five-year term from the effective date. The State reserves the right to conduct cost realism and price reasonableness analysis on all quotes. Price escalation requests may be considered during performance if material, labor, or other costs increase significantly through no fault of the supplier, provided increases do not exceed 5 percent of annual contract cost and are supported by documentation.

Suppliers must comply with E-Verify requirements if employing workers in Alabama, provide proof of manufacturer authorization and professional licenses upon request, register with the Alabama Secretary of State if a foreign entity, and certify compliance with sales tax collection and remittance requirements. The State is exempt from sales tax and does not indemnify suppliers. Suppliers must accept multiple forms of electronic payment including state-issued credit cards and EFT at no additional cost to the State.

The contract is governed by Alabama state law with venue in Montgomery, Alabama, and incorporates Division 4 of the Department of Finance Administrative Code by reference. The State reserves the right to cancel contracts for convenience with reasonable notice or upon supplier request if performance is prevented by acts of God, war, or legal authority.
