About this opportunity

The State of Alabama Office of the Chief Procurement Officer is accepting quotes for FY27 Thomson Reuters products or services under a quick quote solicitation, with quotes due September 28, 2026.

Suppliers must register in Alabama Buys and submit responses electronically through the platform by the published close date and time. All inquiries must be submitted online through the Supplier Portal. By submitting a quote, suppliers certify receipt of the solicitation and all amendments, agree to furnish items or services at quoted prices, and confirm compliance with all terms and conditions.

Contracts resulting from this quick quote may be renewed annually by written agreement, up to a maximum total contract cost of $25,000 or a total time period of five years from the effective contract date. Suppliers employing workers in Alabama must register with E-Verify. Suppliers must be registered with the Alabama Secretary of State if operating as a foreign corporation. The State reserves the right to conduct cost realism and price reasonableness analyses and may request written proof of qualifications including manufacturer authorizations, professional licenses, and certificates of insurance. Price escalation requests are limited to five percent of annual contract costs and must be supported by documentation. All contracts are governed by Alabama law with venue in Montgomery. Disputes are resolved through good faith negotiation followed by non-binding alternative dispute resolution, with payment-related claims directed to the Board of Adjustment. The State is exempt from sales tax and will not indemnify suppliers.
