About this opportunity
The State of Alabama Office of the Chief Procurement Officer is soliciting quick quotes for FY27 EFT processing fees through the Alabama Buys system, with responses due October 2, 2026.
Suppliers must register in Alabama Buys and submit responses electronically through the portal before the solicitation closes. Supplier inquiries must be submitted online through the Supplier Portal. The resulting contract may be renewed annually by written agreement up to a total contract cost of $25,000 or a maximum term of five years from the effective date, whichever occurs first.
Suppliers must certify E-Verify enrollment if employing workers in Alabama and complete disclosure statements for contracts exceeding $25,000. Out-of-state entities must verify registration with the Alabama Secretary of State. The State reserves the right to analyze cost realism and price reasonableness and may request written proof of qualifications, including manufacturer authorizations, licenses, and insurance certificates.
Price escalation requests are limited to five percent of annual contract cost and must be supported by documented justification aligned with industry-specific price indices or Consumer Price Index data. The State is exempt from sales tax, does not indemnify suppliers, and retains sovereign immunity rights. All contracts are governed by Alabama law with exclusive venue in Montgomery. Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or non-binding alternative dispute resolution including mediation through the Alabama State Bar Association's Center for Dispute Resolution.
