About this opportunity

The State of Alabama Office of the Chief Procurement Officer is accepting quick-quote responses for FY27-BOED-Alacourt 1st Quarter, with responses due October 7, 2026.

Responses must be submitted electronically through Alabama Buys prior to the close date and time. Suppliers must be registered in the platform and submit all supplier inquiries through the online Supplier Portal to maintain an official record. By responding, suppliers certify they have received all amendments, read the solicitation, agree to furnish items or services at quoted prices, comply with all terms and conditions, and affirm no collusion or bid-fixing.

Contracts resulting from quick quotes may be renewed annually by written agreement, up to a total contract cost of $25,000 or five years from the effective date, whichever applies first. Pricing is subject to cost realism and reasonableness analysis at the Chief Procurement Officer's discretion, with price increases limited to 5% of annual contract cost and requiring written approval from both parties.

Suppliers must comply with Alabama sales tax certification requirements under Section 41-4-142 and register with the Alabama Secretary of State if they are foreign entities. Those employing workers in Alabama must verify E-Verify enrollment. The State is exempt from sales tax and will not indemnify suppliers. Suppliers must accept multiple forms of electronic payment at no additional cost. Late payment penalties are determined by the State Comptroller's Office. All procurement information is public record subject to Alabama Code 41-4-115 exemptions. The State reserves the right to cancel contracts for convenience with practical notice or upon supplier request if performance is prevented by circumstances beyond the supplier's control. Alabama law and Montgomery serve as the sole venue for disputes.
