The County will prepare the Construction Site Notice (CSN) and provide it to the contractor for posting at least 7 calendar days prior to construction start; the CSN must remain posted throughout the project.
Prevailing wage rates under the Davis-Bacon Act apply. All bids require a bid bond or certified cashier's check equal to not less than 5 percent of the total bid amount. Texas Workers' Compensation coverage certificates, ethics sworn declarations, SWP3 compliance certification, and federal debarment certification are required. Form 1295 (Certificate of Interested Parties) is required if the award exceeds $100,000 or any contract amount of $1 million or more.
