About this opportunity

The City of Jacksonville, Florida Fire and Rescue Department is requesting bids on 40 units of FLIR K85 Thermal Imaging Cameras (Model FLIR-18705-0501) under ITB 17945-26_2, with bids due June 26, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. A Buy American Preference clause under Jacksonville Ordinance Code Section 126.114 applies, offering preference to vendors offering American-manufactured, assembled, or produced goods within 5 percent of the lowest responsive and responsible bid if at least 51 percent of the offered items are manufactured, assembled, or produced in the United States; bidders are not required to submit for this preference but will not be eligible if offering items less than 51 percent American-made.

The scope includes 40 units of thermal imaging cameras paired with 40 units of 3-year lens replacement warranty coverage from the date of delivery. Award will be made on an all-or-none basis to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All unit pricing must include freight, delivery, and handling charges to the delivery location, with FOB Destination and Best Way shipping terms. The initial contract term runs one year, followed by two optional one-year renewal periods, subject to approval by both the supplier and the City.

The question cutoff date is June 16, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. No pre-bid conference is scheduled. Bid bonds, performance bonds, and payment bonds are not required. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, purchase more or fewer than estimated quantities, and add or delete items during the contract period. Responses must be submitted electronically through the City's 1Cloud e-procurement system and may be revised at any time prior to bid closing.
