About this opportunity

Volusia County, Florida is requesting bids for fixed-wing aerial mosquito control services via IFB 26-B-136LB, with bids due October 20, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. and questions due October 6, 2026. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on cost, past performance, technical specifications, and financial stability. Three project references from the last three years are required. Bidders are not required to complete all pricing-sheet fields to be considered responsive.

The contract term is an initial three years with two optional one-year renewals, contingent upon mutual written agreement and Volusia County Council approval when applicable. Price redeterminations are permitted once annually for documented increases in wages, fuel, or materials, calculated using the Employment Cost Index or Producer Price Index as applicable. The County will remit full payment on undisputed invoices within forty-five business days of receipt. The County is exempt from federal excise tax and Florida sales tax. A non-mandatory solicitation opening is scheduled for October 20, 2026 at 3:01 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. Responses must be submitted electronically through the County's eProcurement Portal.
