About this opportunity
The Housing Department of the Seminole Tribe of Florida is requesting bids for fence replacement services at the Hollywood Reservation, with bids due September 2, 2026 at 5:00 PM and a mandatory pre-bid conference on August 24, 2026 at 10:30 AM. The Tribe applies a preference to Seminole Tribal Member-owned and STOFI-certified businesses of up to 4 percent (not to exceed $200,000) compared to the lowest non-Tribal Member bid.
The scope includes demolition and responsible disposal of existing fencing; supply and installation of six-foot-high, pressure-treated wood fence (board-on-board style) with concrete-encased posts extending two feet deep and twenty-four inches below existing grade; two manual gates measuring ten feet wide by six feet high; six-foot fence gate returns; and all associated hardware for gate assembly and operation per industry standards. The project is located at 6331 N 38 Street, Hollywood, Florida. Contractors must schedule utility locates prior to digging, perform all work to code, and maintain daily jobsite cleanup. Work must commence within 21 calendar days of the Purchase Order or Notice to Proceed and be completed within 14 calendar days.
Minimum qualifications include an active-funded service agreement with the Tribe's Housing Department, a current relevant contractor's license, minimum three years of experience in similar services, adequate organizational resources and insurance, and prior satisfactory performance. Contractors must complete the Tribe's Vendor Application and Registration process. The selection process evaluates on-time and complete submission, license requirements, projected completion date and lead time, previous performance, qualifications, current workload capacity, and pricing versus market comparison. Questions are due August 26, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Pricing must remain fixed and firm for 180 calendar days from the bid due date. Attachment E (Survey Site Plans) will be provided at the pre-bid conference. Award notification is expected within 60 calendar days of bid opening.
