About this opportunity
Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 219A is requesting sealed bids for landscape construction on Evergrove Parkway 1B in Richmond, Texas, with bids due July 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at SWA Group's office in Houston. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference was held July 13, 2026.
The scope includes concrete trails, site grading, landscape irrigation, planting, lawn establishment, and three months of landscape maintenance. Work is organized into seven bid items: General Conditions/Fees/Permits, Grading and Drainage, Concrete and Pavements, Site Amenities and Furnishings, Landscape Irrigation, Landscape Planting and Grassing, and Landscape Maintenance. Specific deliverables encompass concrete sidewalks in multiple widths (8', 6', and 5'), site furnishings (boulders, benches, trash receptacles), and plant materials ranging from 65-gallon trees to groundcovers and sod. All work must comply with applicable codes and regulations of the City of Fulshear and Fort Bend County; the contractor is responsible for obtaining necessary permits and fees.
Construction duration is 120 calendar days from written notice to commence. Each bidder must submit a bid bond or certified/cashier's check equal to two percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds each equal to 100 percent of the total contract price, plus a one-year maintenance bond. Bids remain valid for 60 days following the bid opening date.
Bidders must acknowledge receipt of all addenda, provide a detailed subcontractor list, and submit bids in both PDF and Microsoft Excel formats. The project uses AIA standard contract documents (2017 A101 Agreement and A201 General Conditions). The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities in the bidding process.
