About this opportunity
The issuing body is not explicitly named in the source. Based on the reference to "the County's vehicle fleet" and the New York state designation, this appears to be a county government in New York, but the specific county purchasing office or department is not identified. That county is soliciting proposals for an Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Study, with proposals due October 29, 2026.
The scope is a comprehensive report assessing the county's vehicle fleet; potential EV charging infrastructure installation sites; existing building electrical systems and capacity for additional load; cost analysis for infrastructure installation and associated equipment; transition strategy and costs for converting the fleet from gasoline to electric propulsion; and other improvements needed to support EV charging deployment. The deliverable is a detailed, all-inclusive comprehensive assessment.
The source explicitly states that no business enterprises have been awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years.
