About this opportunity
Volusia County, Florida is requesting bids on electric motor repair services under ITB #26-B-134LS, with responses due September 25, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. A local preference of 3–5% applies to vendors with documented permanent locations in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, or Volusia County.
The scope covers repair services for electric motors up to 100 horsepower, including both submersible pump motors and dry application motors, across approximately seven wastewater treatment facilities, nine water treatment facilities, and 126 sewer lift stations. Award will be based on lowest responsive and responsible bid. Evaluation criteria include total cost from a completed Sample Job List (Attachment A), emergency service response timelines, past performance references from the last three years, technical specifications compliance, and financial stability. Price redeterminations are permitted once annually after the first year based on documented increases in wages, fuel, or materials, indexed to the Employment Cost Index or Producer Price Index as published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The County will pay undisputed invoices within forty-five business days of receipt and will pay interest not exceeding one percent per month on invoices unpaid within thirty days.
Questions were due September 11, 2026. A non-mandatory solicitation opening will occur September 25, 2026 at 3:01 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.
