The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities, is soliciting professional services proposals for the DOW Watershed Master Plan Update project (C.I.P. No. 691505-100001) through a competitive request for proposals process. The procurement seeks consultant services to update the watershed master plan, though specific deliverables, key objectives, and required qualifications are not detailed in the available scope summary. Proposals must be submitted exclusively through the Bonfire platform at https://columbus.bonfirehub.com/login by May 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM Eastern Time, with no alternative submission methods accepted. The deadline for submitting questions regarding the RFP is April 29, 2026, with responses to be posted as addenda on the Bonfire platform and the City's Vendor Services website. The selected consultant will be required to attend a scope meeting anticipated approximately three weeks after the proposal due date, with provisions for designating an alternate project manager if the primary contact is unavailable. All proposal documents, reference materials, and addenda will be available for download on Bonfire following advertisement of the RFP, and firms must meet minimum requirements stated in the full RFP documentation to be considered for contract award.
The RFP summary provided does not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, or restrictions limiting eligible respondent types, suggesting the procurement may be open to all qualified firms meeting the stated minimum requirements. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure integration requirements are identified in the available procurement information. Similarly, the possible award value or budget range for this project has not been disclosed in the scope summary.
