About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of abrasive discs measuring 7" x 7/8" hole with 24 grit specifications. This is a straightforward goods procurement posted on February 16, 2026, with a submission deadline of February 19, 2026. Bidders are required to register through the BONFIRE system to access complete project details and the bid table. All bids must be submitted with FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and vendors must adhere to DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. Time and rate of delivery are considered essential elements of the contract, with the seller's failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing the purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. No specific evaluation criteria beyond compliance with delivery terms and pricing competitiveness are detailed in the available documentation.
The procurement opportunity does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting bidder eligibility to particular organization types, disadvantaged enterprises, or small businesses. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. The contract incorporates standard federal and state compliance requirements, including certifications regarding foreign terrorist organization associations and Israel boycott prohibitions, with all matters governed by Texas law and venue established in Dallas County. No specific award value or budget range has been disclosed in the posted information, with pricing to be determined competitively through the bidding process. Prospective vendors should review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document available in the supporting documentation section to ensure full understanding of DART's contractual requirements prior to submission.
