About this opportunity

Gwinnett County, Georgia is soliciting bids for complete demolition of a former convenience store and fueling station at 225 Langley Drive, with proposals due July 30, 2026. The scope includes securing the perimeter per International Building Code, installing erosion control and stormwater inlet protection, and demolishing all structures and site features including the main building, underground and aboveground storage tanks, fueling canopy, fuel dispensers, concrete parking lot (except the entrance/driveway apron, which remains), septic tanks, utility appurtenances, trees, shrubs, and miscellaneous abandoned site features.

Following demolition, the contractor must grade, backfill, and compact disturbed areas with approximately 1% slope to prevent water retention, apply seed and straw for erosion control, and install concrete bin blocks at driveways. All demolition debris must be removed and disposed of in accordance with the Georgia Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Act of 1990 and Georgia Rules for Solid Waste Management Chapter 391-3-4, with proper recycling or landfill placement as appropriate. A detailed site plan referenced in the solicitation defines the exact limits of demolition and grading specifications.

No contract value, incumbent contractor, evaluation criteria, pre-bid meeting date, or question-submission deadline is identified in the available source material.
