Required insurance includes Commercial General Liability ($10 million per occurrence), Comprehensive Automobile Liability ($1 million combined single limit), and South Carolina Workers' Compensation at statutory limits. Performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price are due within 10 business days of contract finalization. Pricing terms will be negotiated during pre-construction with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) due by January 2027 prior to 100% construction document completion. The City reserves the right to terminate the engagement at the end of preconstruction phase. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the City's document upload link with email confirmation to purchasing_bids-rfps@greenvillesc.gov.
