The state of Ohio has issued a procurement opportunity (Contract ID: 6884aa9ce139618f3d099c8c) for educational software licensing and materials specifically targeting career and technical education programs at Ralph C. Starkey High School. The procurement seeks Avid Pro Tools Studio education 1-year license renewals and Pro Tools Fundamentals II ebook, designed to support students' academic knowledge and employability skills development in media arts. The contract was posted on July 25, 2025, with proposals due by August 8, 2025, indicating a relatively short response window of approximately two weeks. The primary objective is to provide students with professional-grade software and educational resources to enhance their technical skills in media production and audio engineering. While specific evaluation criteria are not explicitly detailed, the procurement appears focused on meeting the educational technology needs of the high school's vocational media arts program.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor participation were explicitly mentioned in the available documentation. The procurement does not indicate preferences for disadvantaged business enterprises or specify limitations on vendor types. Given the specialized nature of the software and educational materials, potential respondents would likely need expertise in educational technology, specifically audio production software licensing and educational resources. The contract appears to be a targeted procurement with a focused scope, suggesting a relatively modest budget aligned with software licensing and educational material costs for a single high school program. No information was provided about incumbent vendors or existing technological infrastructure that might require integration with the proposed Avid Pro Tools software and educational materials.
