The contract term runs January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027, with one additional year at the State's option. CHP reserves the right to extend subject to satisfactory performance, funding availability, and Department of General Services approval.

Non-small business subcontractor preference up to 5 percent is available to non-small businesses committing to 25 percent small business subcontractor participation. The DVBE participation requirement has been waived; however, bidders may opt to utilize DVBE participation for incentive eligibility ranging from 1 to 5 percent of the lowest responsive bid based on confirmed DVBE commitment percentage.

CHP intends to award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid after adjustment for applicable preferences and incentives. Written questions are due August 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Bid opening occurs August 20, 2026 at 2:15 p.m.
