About this opportunity

The School District of Palm Beach County is seeking bids on Certified AMAG Panel Installation and Cabling Contractor Services under Solicitation 27C-10P, with responses due August 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST via BidNet Direct. A 5% Small Business Enterprise (SBE) bid preference applies to District-certified SBEs if pricing does not exceed the lowest bid by more than $50,000 or 5%, whichever is less.

The scope includes new installations and repairs to Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) with AMAG OSDP architecture, including removal of existing control panels, installation of HID RP40 OSDP readers, CAT6A cabling with orange jackets, and single-mode OS2 fiber cabling for runs exceeding 280 feet. Services encompass system testing, commissioning, documentation, as-built drawings, and cable test results submission. Programming of new panels will be performed by District staff. All materials must be new and UL-listed. A ten-year manufacturer's warranty is required for structured cabling systems.

This is a term contract establishing a vendor pool; individual projects will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder following site walks and quote submissions. All prices remain firm throughout unless escalation or tariff conditions specified in the solicitation are met.

Bidders must possess current AMAG certification, a Florida Limited Energy (ES/ET) specialty license, Florida business registration, and maintain a permanent office within 75 miles of the District's main office at 3300 Forest Hill Boulevard, West Palm Beach.
