About this opportunity

SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase Canvas Monitors and Related Products from GE Medical System Information Technologies, Inc. via Vizient contract #CE7633 under New York State Finance Law section 163(3)(vi), which permits purchases from a consortium without competitive bidding when justified by price. The procurement carries a hard deadline of October 29, 2026 for vendor inquiries.

This is a sole-source or equivalent-product procurement. Vendors offering equivalent Canvas Monitors and Related Products may contact Richard Frenger to discuss participation. The Hospital has made no commitment to evaluate or award alternative suppliers; the intent statement signals GE as the primary choice with an option for equivalent vendors to present their offerings.

All vendors must comply with NYS Finance Law 139j and k (Lobbying Law). The only permissible contact is the individual named in the opportunity; unsanctioned vendor contact carries penalties ranging from contract denial to debarment from New York State agencies. Vendors are required to file a Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire online via the New York State VendRep System using their New York State Vendor ID. Paper questionnaires are available at www.osc.state.ny.us/vendrep. Enrollment and VendRep System assistance are available through the Office of the State Comptroller's Help Desk at 866-370-4672, 518-408-4672, or ciohelpdesk@osc.state.ny.us.

Place of performance is Suffolk County, New York.
