About this opportunity

Raymondville Independent School District is requesting proposals for building supplies and materials on an indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity basis district-wide, with proposals due September 18, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. CST. Questions are due by August 19, 2026, with answers posted by September 4.

The scope encompasses building supplies and materials for district-wide use. The district does not guarantee any specific purchase volumes and will utilize vendor pricing to determine best value. Multiple awards for individual products and services are permitted. The district reserves the right to award no contracts or reject any or all proposals.

All prices must remain firm throughout the contract term; price adjustments require written approval from Raymondville ISD and consideration of economic indicators such as the Producer Price Index. Vendors must provide evidence of financial health and stability, including audited financial statements or tax returns. Freight charges must be prepaid and included in all pricing as FOB destination, with delivery required between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. unless prior written approval for after-hours delivery is obtained. Vendors must ship available goods within seven working days and special-order items within four to six weeks of purchase order receipt. All goods must carry a one-year warranty from acceptance or payment, whichever is later. Payment is due within forty-five days after the later of goods receipt, service completion, or invoice receipt, per Texas Government Code 2251.021. The contract is non-exclusive; the district retains the right to procure from other vendors at any time.

Proposal submission requires one original and three copies, delivered to Raymondville ISD Purchasing Department at 419 FM 3168, Raymondville, Texas 78580. Hand delivery or FedEx/UPS with signature confirmation is recommended; U.S. Postal Service submissions are discouraged due to warehouse processing delays. Award recommendation to the school board is targeted for October 13, 2026, with vendor start following board approval.
