About this opportunity
The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors is conducting a Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) to establish as-needed Master Agreements with economic consultants specializing in real property asset management. The procurement seeks qualified consultants to provide expert economic consultation services for managing properties in Marina del Rey and on County-owned or operated beaches. Vendors must demonstrate a minimum of five years' experience in economic consultation, with expertise in advising public and private entities on commercial real property development, purchase, sale, and leasing activities. The initial submission deadline is set for March 3, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., with the County indicating they will continuously accept Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) throughout the Master Agreement's duration. Prospective consultants must submit their qualifications through the County's business portal at doingbusiness.lacounty.gov or the Department of Beaches and Harbors website. The County reserves the right to cancel the RFSQ or modify any terms and conditions, including minimum qualifications. Interested parties can contact Angelica Vicente at AVicente@bh.lacounty.gov for additional information about the solicitation.
The procurement documents do not specify any specific set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent types, nor do they indicate preferences for disadvantaged business enterprises. No incumbent vendors or existing contractors are mentioned in the available documentation. The solicitation does not provide details about potential contract award values, budget ranges, or specific funding sources. While the County will establish Master Agreements with selected economic consultants, the exact number of contracts or anticipated contract value is not disclosed. The opportunity appears to be structured as an indefinite quantity, as-needed contract that allows the County flexibility in engaging economic consulting services for real property management. The continuous acceptance of SOQs suggests the County intends to maintain a pool of qualified consultants they can draw from as needed, rather than making a single, definitive award. Contact for additional details remains Angelica Vicente from the Department of Beaches and Harbors.
