About this opportunity

The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE), specifically the Office of Arts and Special Projects (OASP), is seeking proposals for arts education services across Kings County and four other counties (Bronx, New York, Queens, Richmond). This indefinitely open solicitation targets organizations capable of providing high-quality arts education services for students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, with optional professional development and parent engagement components. The procurement is divided into two primary service components: Component A focuses on direct student services with optional professional development services, while Component B centers on parent engagement services. Vendors are expected to identify and include proven program models that effectively support student arts education. The solicitation aims to advance teaching and learning in visual arts, performing arts (dance, music, theater), and moving image disciplines. Proposals must be submitted to 65 Court Street, Room 1201, Brooklyn, NY 11201, with electronic copies emailed to DCPSubmissions@schools.nyc.gov. The due date is listed as August 25, 2045, at 1:00 PM, with questions to be directed to ISPSupport@schools.nyc.gov.

The solicitation does not include a service-disabled veteran-owned business set-aside, indicating open competition for all qualified vendors. The contract term is specified as five years, covering multiple counties within New York State. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the comprehensive nature of the services suggests a potentially significant contract value. Vendors must provide detailed information including company name, address, phone and fax numbers, email address, Tax ID Number, and MTAC Number in all correspondence. Organizations responding to the solicitation should demonstrate extensive experience in arts education, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective arts programming for students. Potential respondents can download the full solicitation from the NYCDOE's vendor information hub at https://infohub.nyced.org/working-with-the-doe/vendors/open-doe-solicitations/open-multiple-task-award-contracts-and-procurements. Vendors unable to download the solicitation are instructed to contact the vendor hotline at vendorhotline@schools.nyc.gov for assistance.
