About this opportunity
The State of Alabama Office of the Chief Procurement Officer is requesting quotes for webhosting, database management, and credit card processing services under APIB 2027, with quotes due September 18, 2026 — a three-day window.
Suppliers must register in Alabama Buys and submit responses electronically before the closing deadline. All responses must acknowledge receipt of the solicitation and amendments, confirm review of terms, and commit to furnish services at quoted prices in compliance with contract conditions.
The contract carries a ceiling of $25,000 total cost including the original agreement and any subsequent renewals, or a term of five years from the effective date, whichever occurs first. Annual renewals are permitted by written agreement of both parties. The State of Alabama is exempt from paying sales tax.
The State reserves the right to conduct cost realism and price reasonableness analyses on all quotes at the Chief Procurement Officer's discretion. Suppliers may request price increases during contract performance if material, labor, or other cost components increase through no fault of the supplier, provided increases do not exceed 5 percent of the annual contract cost and are supported by documentation.
Suppliers must comply with Alabama's E-Verify program requirements if they employ workers within the state. If the contract value exceeds $25,000, suppliers must provide a Disclosure Statement within ten days of award and certify compliance with state and local sales tax collection and remittance obligations.
All contracts are governed by Alabama law with exclusive venue in Montgomery. Disputes are resolved through negotiation and non-binding alternative dispute resolution, including mediation through the Alabama State Bar Association's Center for Dispute Resolution.
