About this opportunity

The State of Alabama Office of the Chief Procurement Officer is requesting responses on pest control services via Quick Quote (solicitation 820-780376), with responses due October 13, 2026. All responses must be submitted electronically through Alabama Buys; suppliers must register in the system and participate through the Public Solicitation portal by the close date and time.

Contracts resulting from this solicitation may be renewed annually by written agreement, up to a total contract cost of $25,000 including the original agreement and any subsequent renewals, or for a total time period of five years from the effective date, whichever applies first. Price increases during the contract term are limited to 5% of annual contract cost and must be supported by industry-specific price indices or Consumer Price Index documentation.

Suppliers must comply with federal immigration law and the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act. E-Verify enrollment is required prior to award for suppliers employing workers within Alabama. Foreign corporations must register with the Alabama Secretary of State before transacting business in the state. The State is exempt from sales tax and will provide an exemption letter upon request; suppliers must certify compliance with Alabama sales and use tax collection and remittance requirements.

The State reserves the right to conduct cost realism and price reasonableness analysis on all bids and may request documentation of supplier qualifications, including manufacturer authorizations, professional licenses, and certificates of insurance. This procurement is governed by the State of Alabama under Division 4 of the Department of Finance Administrative Code, Chapters 355-4-1 through 355-4-6, effective October 1, 2022. Alabama law and Montgomery County courts are the sole venue for disputes. Supplier inquiries should be submitted online through the Supplier Portal to maintain records.
