The project encompasses comprehensive exterior upgrades including installation of Variform Camden Pointe vinyl siding (.044 mil thickness) in sandy tan on a structure measuring approximately 36' x 214' with 10' sidewalls, aluminum soffit and fascia installation in white or brown, replacement of all windows with vinyl-frame, low-E insulated glass units (Simonton, Pella, or approved equivalents), replacement of two 36" commercial-grade steel entrance doors with half-lite design, metal roofing on entrance awnings, garage door trim wrapping with woodgrain PVC products, and installation of cultured stone veneer or corrugated metal panels around exterior water connections. Contractors must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and off-site disposal of construction waste while maintaining daily site cleanup and ensuring compliance with Michigan Building Code standards. A mandatory pre-bid walk-through inspection is scheduled for June 5, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., with sealed electronic bids due through the SIGMA VSS system by June 12, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. local time. All work must be completed by September 27, 2019. Questions are accepted until June 7, 2019, at noon and should be directed to Project Manager Sharon Conley at 517-284-5855 or conleys2@michigan.gov.
