About this opportunity

Central Ohio Behavioral Healthcare is soliciting bids for furnish-and-install repair of approximately 2 linear feet of galvanized concertina/razor wire on an existing 20-foot fence line, with bids due September 14, 2026.

The scope requires removal and disposal of damaged, sagging, or displaced wire remnants, then splicing new wire into existing coil runs on both sides to restore a continuous barrier with no gaps. New wire must match the existing coil diameter, gauge, and barb spacing. The contractor must secure wire to existing support arms and brackets per original installation standard, ensure proper tension and consistent coil spacing to match adjoining sections, and verify that no sharp or loose ends create safety hazards beyond normal razor wire function.

Work requires ladder or lift access to the top of the fence. The contractor must provide its own fall protection, ladder or lift, and PPE. A pre-bid walk-through is available; interested parties should contact Jennifer.Ball@dbh.ohio.gov to schedule.

No contract value, contract term, incumbent, or evaluation criteria are specified in the solicitation notice.
