About this opportunity
The State of Alabama Office of the Chief Procurement Officer is soliciting software maintenance services for FAST under a Quick Quotes mechanism with a proposal due date of October 6, 2026 and a maximum total contract cost of $25,000.
The scope includes access to core product documentation, hotfixes, core product defect repair, service packs, and future version upgrades. Support is priced at a blended hourly rate per contract year. The rate includes an 8% allowance over the typical 1,760 annual hours to accommodate extra work during evenings and weekends. When performing upgrades, the agency may use resource hours already contemplated for regular support, though the agency and FAST must allocate enough resources to perform critical system maintenance and operation. The contract also encompasses SMS services.
The maximum total contract cost is $25,000 with a total contract period not to exceed five years from the effective date and annual renewal by written agreement of both parties. Pricing is structured as a blended hourly rate per contract year, subject to the State's right to conduct cost realism and price reasonableness analysis. Price escalation requests may be considered if material, labor, or other contract components significantly increase through no fault of the supplier, provided such increases do not exceed corresponding industry-specific price index or Consumer Price Index increases and cannot exceed 5% of annual contract cost.
Suppliers must register in Alabama Buys and submit responses electronically through that platform. Suppliers employing one or more employees within Alabama must verify E-Verify enrollment prior to award. Suppliers must provide a Disclosure Statement within ten days of award and certify compliance with state and local sales tax collection and remittance requirements. The State is exempt from sales tax under Section 40-23-4(a)(11) of the Code of Alabama 1975. All contracts are governed by Alabama law with venue in Montgomery. The State reserves the right to cancel contracts for convenience with as much notice as practicable.
