About this opportunity

The U.S. Mission to Vietnam's Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) of the Department of State is seeking proposals for cooperative agreements or grants to support activities that enhance understanding of emerging technologies and related digital policies, provide English language teacher training, foster U.S. alumni networks in Vietnam, and strengthen people-to-people ties as the U.S. and Vietnam mark thirty years of bilateral relations. Eligible applicants include registered non-profit organizations, educational institutions, social enterprises, and governmental institutions. Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria such as program quality, creativity/sustainability, organizational capacity, planning/objectives, budget, and monitoring/evaluation. The application deadline is March 2, 2025.

The total available funding is $60,000, with individual awards ranging from $7,500 to $30,000. Projects should ideally be planned for 12 months but can be longer based on program needs. Applicants must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and SAM.gov registration. The grants, fixed amount awards, or cooperative agreements will be administered under the Public Diplomacy Programs (CFDA 19.040) federal grant program, which aims to inform and influence foreign publics and strengthen bilateral relationships.
