The Library of Congress is seeking proposals from organizations interested in becoming Regional Partners to administer the Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) regional subaward program. The Regional Partners will be responsible for conducting outreach, soliciting and evaluating proposals, distributing subawards, monitoring performance, and reporting to the Library. Eligible applicants include a wide range of public and private organizations, such as educational institutions, libraries, cultural institutions, and community groups, that have the capacity to serve all states/territories within one of the designated regions. The Library plans to make up to 6 cooperative agreement awards and the proposals are due by October 2, 2024.
The Library intends to make up to $900,000 in awards per Regional Partner for an 18-month period of performance. The subawards distributed by the Regional Partners will range from $5,000 to $25,000 to support educational organizations in incorporating Library of Congress materials and teaching methods into their programming across the Eastern, Midwest, Western, Southern, Great Plains, and U.S. Territories regions.
