About this opportunity
This is a continuation of funding for an existing cooperative agreement award (23JD01GLO2) under the Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons' Corrections Training and Staff Development program (CFDA 16.601). The agency is seeking proposals to devise and conduct seminars, workshops, and training programs for a variety of correctional personnel, including law enforcement officers, judges, probation and parole staff, and others involved in the treatment and rehabilitation of criminal and juvenile offenders. The goal is to develop technical training teams to aid in the development of these programs within states and with state/local agencies working with prisoners, parolees, probationers, and other offenders.
Typical award values for this program range from $75,000 to $275,000 for 12-month project periods, with potential for multi-year funding. The places of performance generally include both remote work and in-person training delivery at correctional facilities nationwide. Applications are due by September 30, 2024, for projects expected to begin in 2024.
