About this forecast

The Department of the Interior will solicit emergency maintenance and replacement services for radio communications infrastructure at Zion National Park, with an estimated solicitation release on January 31, 2027. The project involves replacing an aging West Temple repeater shelter (constructed April 2004) and radio equipment (from the early 1980s) with a modern, self-contained, prefabricated metal radio repeater shelter that will support all primary emergency, maintenance, and administrative radio communications for the park. The concrete pad underlying the existing shelter will be repurposed as a helicopter landing zone.

The estimated award value ranges from $500,000 to $999,000. Work will be performed in Utah. NAICS 237130 (Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction) applies. Jeffrey S. Bradybaugh, Superintendent at Zion National Park, is the point of contact and may be reached at jeff_bradybaugh@nps.gov or 435-772-0140.
