About this forecast
The Department of the Interior, through the National Park Service, is procuring gillnetting and trap netting operations services with an estimated solicitation release date of January 31, 2027. This new five-year requirement will include two to three task orders covering demobilization operations in October and gillnet and trap netting activities during summer months, succeeding a contract that began in April 2024 and is expected to exhaust available funds before the current operating season concludes.
The estimated award value ranges from $2 million to $4.9 million. Work is performed in Wyoming. Cam Sholly, National Park Service, is the point of contact at cam_sholly@nps.gov.
Forecast text
This is the last year of this contract that started in April 2024. It will involve two to three task orders: one for demob in Oct. and one for gillnet and trap netting operations in summer (this was split into two TO's last year). We will most likely run out of funds on this current contract before the operating season is over so we plan to start a new 5 year contract as well.
