About this forecast
The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is recompeting an indefinite delivery contract for overhaul services on right-hand and left-hand rudders supporting 87-foot WPB patrol vessels, with solicitation release estimated for June 22, 2026, and award anticipated August 1, 2026. The contractor must open, inspect, and overhaul rudders to ready-for-issue "A" condition per government-provided drawings and specifications, with Coast Guard quality assurance personnel inspecting all work at the vendor's facility. The contract is set aside for total small business and runs through July 31, 2031.
The estimated award value ranges from $1,000,000 to $2,000,000 as a firm fixed-price indefinite delivery contract. Work is performed in the United States, though the successful contractor must be capable of worldwide shipping to direct-deliver overhauled rudder assemblies to Coast Guard facilities, vessels, or contracted repair facilities globally.
