About this forecast
Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest is procuring construction and systems work for Building 104-7 at Naval Air Station Fallon, consisting of a center stud wall partition (approximately 50 feet by 20 feet), an automated roll-up door with dual control systems (pull string for forklift operators and push buttons on each side), a sprinkler system suitable for lithium storage in half the building, and sulfur dioxide sensors with audible alarms in Building 104-7 and adjacent Building 104-14. The work is being issued as a delivery order under a non-GSA contract vehicle. The building contains refrigerated space with potentially asbestos-containing ceiling material.
The estimated award value is up to $2 million, with award anticipated in April 2026. Place of performance is 750 Pacific Hwy, San Diego, California 92132. The contracting office is NAVFAC Southwest (UIC N62473), with the Fallon Regional Operational Integrated Command and Control serving as the program office.
Forecast text
Build a stud wall down the center of the building 104-7 (roughly 50'x20') and provide and install an automated roll up door with mechanical chain fall in the new wall (roughly 8'x12'). Roll up door shall have both pull string controls for use by forklift drivers and push button controls on each side (matching existing roll up doors between 104-6 and 104-7). Additionally install sprinkler system in one half the building suitable for the storage of lithium. Install SO2 sensors that will alarm audibly in 104-7 and the adjacent building 104-14. This building is refrigerated and the material on the ceiling is believed to be asbestos containing material.
