About this forecast

The U.S. Coast Guard is procuring commercial and institutional building construction services to repair and renovate the child development center at TRACEN Petaluma, California, on a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside basis using the Design/Build Construction Services II (Regional) (RMACC II) contract vehicle. Solicitation is estimated to release October 1, 2026, with award targeted for February 1, 2027.

The contract carries a firm fixed-price estimated award value ranging from $500,000 to $1,000,000 with a period of performance from February 1, 2027, through May 31, 2027. Forecast text

PSN 32668336 The TRACEN CDC program is in critical need of funding corrections to both the new CDC and the existing CDC. The FDCC project was not completed to the point the base could occupy the the building without significant work. The program will also require the continued use of the existing CDC as the childcare demand on-base is over double the capacity of the new CDC which only has one room for each age group. The intent is to repair the old CDC to function as the infant and Pre-toddler age group (6 Weeks to 24months) which will have 2 infant rooms and 2 pre-toddler rooms. The recent CDC will have the capacity for (2yrs - Pre-K).
