Forecast text

Funding requested under this line item supports the administrative and analytical operations necessary to sustain the CDER Research Governance Council (RGC) and Financial Council (FC). These Councils are responsible for ensuring CDER's research portfolio remains strategically aligned with the Center's regulatory mission and that resources are allocated efficiently and in accordance with appropriated authorities. Dedicated support staff coordinate meeting logistics, prepare briefing materials, track action items, compile portfolio and financial data, and maintain governance documentation across both bodies. Without this support, the Councils' capacity to provide leadership with timely, accurate information and sound oversight would be significantly diminished.
